British newcomer Jayne Lewis has ‘Orange Sky’ album released through Authentic Music.

AUTHENTIC MUSIC, in June 2004, are releasing the debut record label album by Britain’s Jayne Lewis. The publicity sheet for her album ‘Orange Sky’ states;

“It’s not often an artist is signed to a label on the strength of a demo tape but Jayne Lewis is one such artist.”

Jayne has been singing backing vocals and supporting Worship leaders at various events including Spring Harvest and at the Keswick Convention. Jayne is a regular Worship leader at her own church in Houghton le Spring, and has been invited to lead Worship at various other UK events. Jayne’s album of mainly self-composed songs is described as “a refreshing mixture of inspirational and contemporary worship music” and was produced by Chris Norton.

Orange Sky – released July 2004

Orange Sky is a collection of contemporary worship songs and songs of personal testimony and praise. The album contains a variety of styles including up-tempo guitar songs and more mellow piano ballads. The title track Orange Sky is an up-tempo ‘feel good’ song, which should have you singing along in no time!

Orange sky reviews and articles

Reviewed by Diane Woodrow for Cross rhythms…

‘For those of you who have heard Jayne at Keswick Convention then this is a must. It is a wonderful collection of contemporary worship songs, some written by Jayne from personal testimony, some well known songs like “Be Thou My Vision”, “Jesus Be My Centre” and “Above All”. But Jayne’s personal songs are written in that similar vein.

“Fragile Dreams” is totally awesome with the wonderful line, “You can be whatever he meant you to be and do whatever he says you can do” makes it a must for any Christian needing that boost to follow God’s call. It contains a variety of styles including up-tempo guitars and then more mellow piano ballads. I must admit it has not left our music machine much since we received it. This has taken about a year and a half to write, I just hope Jayne doesn’t take as long to write the next one. Brilliant and beautiful!’

Here are just a handful of comments from people who have listened to the album ….

“Beautiful album, voice of an angel, truly wonderful first album”

“When you sing, my heart opens”
